Most Continental aircraft at LAX now wear the new "Continited" livery with United titles.
The United-Continental merger continues to move forward, with Continental having adopted United Hemispheres as its inflight magazine, and United having officially adopted the Continental disco ball as its symbol, bidding the Saul Bass tulip farewell after almost four decades. Additionally, the United theme music, George Gershwin's well known composition "Rhapsody in Blue," continues on as the theme music of the combined airline.
