The 64- cannon Princesa ship , commanded by Pablo Agustín de Aguirre, on April 19, 1740, held a stubborn combat for more than seven hours with the British Orford, Kent and Lenox, 70 cannons, at Cape Prior , to whom she had to surrender. The Princesa , built in Guarnizo in 1730, served in the Royal Navy under the name of Princessa until 1784 when it was sold. It was scrapped in 1809.

El Princesa, construido en Guarnizo en 1730, sirvió en la Royal Navy con el nombre de Princessa hasta 1784 en que fue vendido. Se desguazó en 1809.
