English: Arms of Cogan, feudal barons of Bampton, Devon: Gules, three mulbery leaves argent. As blazoned in Pole, Sir William (d.1635), Collections Towards a Description of the County of Devon, Sir John-William de la Pole (ed.), London, 1791, p.447, and as depicted quartered on monument of Lady Frances Bourchier (1587-1612) in the Bedford Chapel at Chenies, Buckinghamshire[1]. The arms of Cogan are variously blazoned elsewhere as oak leaves, mulbery leaves, etc.
