Summary

Description
English: Coahuilasaurus is a large saurolophine hadrosaur that lived about 72 million years ago in the Late Cretaceous of what is now Mexico. Large Hadrosaurs were very common in the northern hemisphere during the Late Cretaceous, and made up the bulk of herbivorous fauna, apparently replacing sauropods which were found almost exclusively in the southern hemisphere at this time. Coahuilasaurus is a kritosaurin, which are known for the large arched nasal formations above their beaks.
