English: Formerly the Baltimore City Courthouse, the Clarence M. Mitchell, Jr., Courthouse opened in 1900 and is an excellent example of neoclassical, late-19th century civic architecture. Visible are the 35-ton, 31-foot marble columns above the Calvert Street entrance. At right is the Battle Monument.
