DescriptionCharminster, Bournemouth School for Girls - geograph.org.uk - 735098.jpg
English: Charminster: Bournemouth School for Girls Bournemouth School for Girls, the town's girls' grammar school, occupied 641854 in the centre of town before its removal to these purpose-built premises in the 1960s. There is a large playing field separating the school from the boys' equivalent, 676532.
The road in the foreground is Castle Lane West, the main A3060 from Northbourne to Iford, although the school's postal address is Castle Gate Close, a nearby cul-de-sac onto which the main entrance opens.
