Summary

Description
English: The illustration of feline behaviour is from Charles Darwin's book on "The expression of the emotions in man and animals," published in 1872, to exemplify the physical attributes a cat expresses while feeling terror. Darwin's book on emotions is his third major work on the Theory of Evolution and uses methodology of anecdotal cognitivism and anthropomorphism to explain human and animal behaviour. The theories of evolution and Darwin's works are the foundation for many scientific disciplines and understanding of biology and animal cognition.
