DescriptionCarrington Street and Nottingham Station - geograph.org.uk - 4342001.jpg
English: The Carrington Street frontage of Nottingham Station. A picture taken outside the Bentinck Hotel on the corner of Station Street on a remarkably clear and sunny February afternoon. The station's Carrington Street frontage was built for the Midland Railway in 1904 and cleaned and reworked in 2013-14. With the sun low in the sky its terra cotta is spectacularly orange. The hotel and the pedestrians, though, are in the shadow of the building opposite.
