Summary

Description
English: Camp Disappointment, the farthest north point of the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Lewis' camp site was presumably at the fenced-in historical marker at the center of the picture. The cottonwood trees in the background mark the banks of Cut Bank Creek. The ledge to the right was an ancient Indian buffalo jump.
