DescriptionCabbage fertilized with compost and urine (15470416069).jpg
English: This cabbage was grown by the same farmer when the composting facility was still operating. It was fertilized using compost from the facility and additional doses of stored urine, which was usually also bought from the composting facility. The farmer is now lamenting about the lack of these products in Adjumani and is planning to construct his own ecosan toilet in order to have the fertilizers available.
The Sustainable Sanitation Alliance (SuSanA) is a network formed by organisations active in the field of sustainable sanitation.
The secretariat is currently located at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ, German Agency for International Cooperation) in Eschborn, Germany.
