Every year or two the Iban Dayaks hold a feast called Gawai Autu in honour of the departed spirits which they believe surround the heads which hang in their houses. In this manner they hope to keep in favour with the spirits and so have good fortune. Deutsch: Dajak in Festtracht
Dajak in Festtracht mit erbeuteten Köpfen in den Händen, bei einem Gawai-Antu-Fest, das jedes ober alle zwei Jahre zu Ehren der Geister der verstorbenen stattfindet, die nach dem Glauben der Dajak die Köpfe, welche in iherem Hause hängen, umgeben. Chaque année ou deux, les Dayak célèbrent une fête nommée Gawai Antu pour honorer les âmes des défunts supposée entourer les têtes qu'ils suspendent aux murs de leurs maisons.
