Description
English: Sandstone, mudstone, and conglomerate beds of the Burro Canyon Formatin exposed in the spillway of Heron Lake. This is the earliest Cretaceous formation of the Chama Basin and underlies the Dakota Formation (whose base is the carboniferous layer near the top.)
