DescriptionBurnley bus station - Transdev double-decker - geograph.org.uk - 3021343.jpg
English: Transdev Burnley & Pendle bus 196 (reg. F96 PRE), a 1988 Leyland Olympian with Alexander RL bodywork, pictured in Burnley bus station. It was new to Stephensons of Uttoxeter, passing to Northern Blue in 2006. It entered the TB&P fleet on 1 September 2009 when Northern Blue, which had been bought by Transdev on 5 August 2007, was merged with the Burnley & Pendle operation. It remained in Transdev Northern Blue livery until being repainted sometime between 2010/11 into this scheme, which uses the base design of the company's Starship, albeit without 'Starship' fleetnames. This was possibly because unlike proper Starship buses, it's not a low-floor midibus and it seemingly doesn't stay on local Burnley routes.
