English: This is a topology map of Burney basin, the second-largest known impact basin on the dwarf planet Pluto. In this image, where darker gray represents lower elevation, Burney's multi-ring structure can be clearly seen, whereas Burney's structure was difficult to see in visible light imagery. Indeed, Burney's structure is revealed to be quite complex, albeit rather degraded: anywhere from two to four peak rings can be observed, strikingly resembling Mare Orientale on the Moon. The enhanced-contrast image was cropped from the Pluto global digital elevation model (DEM) that combines data from New Horizon's LORRI and MVIC instruments to produce a height map of the explored regions of Pluto.
