Deutsch: Dürnitz der Meersburg; einer der Stationen auf dem Rundgang im Burgmuseum. Auf einer Informationstafel steht dazu: “Die Dürnitz, Gelaß aus dem 7. Jhrdt. Ältester Innenraum der Burg. Holzbalkendecke im 14. Jhrdt. erneuert. Mauerstärke fast 3 m. Hier war die Burgwache zur Verteidigung des Eingangs untergebracht. Er war heizbar, der Rauch zog durch einen Abzugkanal ab. Die Fenster waren ohne Glas u. wurden durch Vorsetzen von Windläden geschlossen.” Die Datierung auf das 7. Jhrdt. erscheint jedoch gewagt.
