Čeština: Budova Ministerstva obrany v Praze - Na Valech. Ve třetím poschodí budovy, kde dnes (2018) sídlí Ministerstvo obrany České republiky, byla v meziválečném období umístěna Vysoká škola válečná a Kurs pro vyšší velitele. V roce 1921 v budově sídlila nově založená Válečná škola (VŠ), po roce 1934 přejmenovaná na Vysokou školu válečnou (VŠV). Ta fungovala až do rokou 1938/1939. Po druhé světové válce byla její činnost nakrátko obnovena (od 1. října 1945 do 1. října 1948) a poté byla nahrazena (v období od 1. října 1948 do 15. srpna 1951) Vysokou vojenskou akademií.
English: Building of the Ministry of Defense in Prague - Na Valech. On the third floor of the building where the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic is housed today (2018), the War School and the Course for High Commanders were placed in the interwar period. In 1921, a newly founded War School was housed in the building, after 1934 was renamed on the War College. This institution worked here until 1938/1939. After World War II, activities of the War College were restored briefly (from 1 October 1945 to 1 October 1948) and then was the War College replaced (from October 1, 1948 to August 15, 1951) by the High Military Academy.
