Summary

Description
English: Promotion path of British Admirals of the 19th century under usage of Royal Navy flags of 18th century. Note these were ensign flags of the coloured squadrons and not the different command flags each flag officer flew. There were also Commodores of the Red, White and Blue. The rank of Admiral of the Red did not exist prior to 1805.
