Colin texted me on Thursday night: "Youre gonna be wishing u had your camera tonight, clyde is so still."
He was not wrong. This shot represents for me a year of patiently waiting. Almost an entire year has passed since I was out along the Clyde and last saw it so still that it was like a series of mirrors reflecting the bridges back up from the depths. I was gutted then to not have my camera to hand to capture it. But now all the waiting has finally paid off.
This shot also represents the largest panoramic shot I've ever stitched together - 19 shots in all.
