English: Bridge of Earn Station. View SE, towards Forth Bridge and Edinburgh/Glasgow, also left to Newburgh; ex-NBR Edinburgh/Glasgow - Perth main line, junction of the line from Ladybank via Newburgh. THe station was closed to passengers on 15/6/64 (goods 21/6/65) and on 5/1/70 the main line via Glenfarg was closed (and the M9 Motorway built over it), trains to Perth being diverted (from 10/75!) via Ladybank over the Newburgh line, which had lost its local passenger trains on 19/9/55. |
