Posee 20 cupones canjeables por 20 dólares cada uno, que es el 8% del valor nominal del bono, o sea, el interés a pagar de forma bianual (el 1 de febrero y 1 de agosto) al portador.
English: $500 bond issued on August 1, 1858 by the Louisiana Tehuantepec Company (formed in New Orleans, USA, in the 1850s to establish a communication line between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans through the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Mexico), signed by its president Emilie La Sére and his secretary. It has 20 coupons exchangeable for $20 each, which is 8% of the face value of the bond, that is, the interest which is to be paid semiannually (on February 1 and August 1) to the bearer. The face value was to be paid to the bearer 10 years after the bond was issued. |
