Summary

Description
English: The Moroccan Embassy at Niederwallstraße No. 39 in Berlin-Mitte. The slender building, constructed in 1775, was formerly known as "Small Hunters Lodge". It is the only surviving part of the royal Prussian Hunters Lodge, which was demolished around 1870 for the construction of the Reichsbank on Jägerstraße. The building originally contained official residences and offices. From 1816 to 1822, it was seat of royal government of Berlin. During reconstruction in 1857, architect Hermann Waesemann added another story. The building was heavily damaged in WWII and lost three thirds of its front side. It has been designated as a historic landmark.
