Deutsch: Das ehemalige Kaiserliche Patentamt in der Luisenstraße 32-34 in Berlin-Mitte, erbaut 1887-1891 von August Busse. Das Patentamt gehörte zu den Reichsbehörden, die um 1890 gegründet und für die neue, repräsentative Verwaltungsgebäude errichtet wurden. Die vierflügelige Anlage umschließt einen Innenhof. Der bildhauerische Schmuck der Fassade stammt von Otto Lessing. Das Gebäude war früher Sitz der DDR-Generalstaatsanwaltschaft und beherbergt heute Büros und Konferenzräume des Deutschen Bundestags. Es ist als Baudenkmal ausgewiesen.
English: The former Imperial Patent Office at Luisenstraße No. 32-34 in Berlin-Mitte, built 1887 to 1891 by August Busse. The patent office was one of several government agencies founded around 1890, which needed new and representative administration buildings. The complex with four wings is built around an inner yard. The sculptural ornaments of the facade are by Otto Lessing. The building used to be seat of the GDR General Prosecution Office. Today, offices and conference rooms of the German Federal Parliament (Bundestag) are located here. The building has been designated a historic landmark.
