DescriptionBeach fishing, Stanswood Bay - geograph.org.uk - 515211.jpg
English: Beach fishing, Stanswood Bay This sea angler looks like he might have caught something interesting, but it turned out to be a big piece of seaweed. At high tide (shown here) the submerged beach is very flat sand and gravel banks, I'd think not really suitable for fishing. In the distance ships can be seen leaving Southampton Water off Calshot Spit.
