Summary

On February 13, 2024, Dennis Villarojo presided over a Concelebrated Solemn Declaration Mass, conferring the title of Dicosesan Shrine upon Baliwag Church (in accordance with Canon 1230-1234, Book IV "The Sanctifying Office of the Church", 1983 Code of Canon Law-Canon law of the Catholic Church by virtue of the Decretum effective on November 14, 2023, and witnessed by Roman Catholic Diocese of Malolos Chancellor Fr. Renato B. Brion, Jr. The historical marker was unveiled by Ferdinand Estrella. Villarojo appointed Parish Priest Fr. Narciso S. Sampana as First Rector of the Shrine. His Parochial Vicar and assistant is Rev. Fr. Prince Lenrick P. Marcelo who assumed the office last February 2021. Sampana previously served as Parish Priest of the Santo Niño Parish Church (Perez, Meycauayan City) while Marcelo previously served the Saint Martin of Tours Parish Church (Bocaue)).
