DescriptionBONNIE'S BRIDGE, CHERRY HILL, CAMDEN COUNTY.jpg
English: DATE OF CONSTRUCTION IS UNCERTAIN BUT CIRCA MID 18TH CENTURY. WHEN THE BRITISH ARMY LEFT PHILADELPHIA IN 1778 ONE FLANK CROSSED THE COOPER RIVER ON THIS BRIDGE. IT IS THE LAST SURVIVING STONE ARCH BRIDGE IN CAMDEN COUNTY. IT NOW STANDS IN THE BACK YARD OF A HOUSE ON WAYLAND AVENUE BUT IS VISIBLE FROM THE SIDEWALK
THE WHITE FIGURES ON THE BRIDGE ARE SIMPLY THERE BECAUSE THE PICTURE WAS TAKEN DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON. ALSO THE BRICKS VISIBLE ARE LATER ADDITIONS TO RE-INFORCE THE BRIDGE BUT THE STONE IS COMPLETELY ORIGINAL
