Its replacement, the Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC2), has already been installed on Hubble. Hoffman and Story Musgrave were performing an extravehicular activity (EVA) to repair and upgrade the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) in December 1993 on the first HST servicing mission.
