File:Article feedback instability in variables as number of ratings per article rises.svg

Original file(SVG file, nominally 1,255 × 658 pixels, file size: 118 KB)

Summary

Description
English: Bit of a counter-intuitive result, as we would expect averages to converge as we got more data points. But the vast majority of articles are rated very few times. As we get to articles with >!00 ratings there are fewer and fewer articles so averages become unstable. Source code available from Github.
