Summary

Description
English: Artemis is the Greek Goddess of the wilderness, wild animals and the Moon. She is often seen with a deer or dogs and her bow and golden arrows made by a cyclops, as her father Zeus commanded. Leto was her mother and Apollo her twin brother. As the goddess of the Moon, she is also associated with water and the feminine, further known to be the goddess of midwifery, childbirth and young girls. Here Artemis is reimagined in contemporary art as by artist Andrea LaHue.
