Ribbon for recipients of the WP:Alexander the Great Triple Laurel Crown. The ribbon is based on the rainbow from the w:File:LGBT Ribbon.png, the rainbow motif chosen in reference to the historical belief that Alexander the Great was bisexual. Onto this has been superimposed the mosaic w:File:BattleofIssus333BC-mosaic-detail1.jpg, a portrait of Alexander, with three laurel wreaths (from w:File:Laurel wreath.svg) added in recognition of the name of the award. This is similar to the juxtoposition employed at w:File:Alexanderthegreaattriplecrown.jpg, which is the theme image at the Triple Crown project for the Alexander the Great Triple Laurel Crown.
