English: Aldersley Farmhouse, Upper Allerton Lane, Allerton. This is captioned in Gothic letters on the 1:25000 map, and the English Heritage listing (Grade 2*) states that it is timber framed, but was encased in stone and extended in the latter part of the 17C. The north front has some small blocked round-headed windows, two on the first floor, flanking the central window of the left bay, and one (out-of-sight in this image) at the left end of the ground floor.
