Français : Plus faible que la lumière zodiacale, cet airglow (ou lumière nocturne) a été photographié dans le ciel de l'Allier en France. Ces ondulations vertes font penser aux aurores boréales, ce qui n'est pas le fruit du hasard. Ce phénomène se forme à la même altitude, c'est à dire entre 80 et 100 km de haut, dans la thermosphère. Il est visible par les nuits très sombres et sans pollutions lumineuses.
