English: Two automated air pollution (carbon dioxide/nitrogen dioxide) sensors on the platforms at Birmingham New Street train station in the UK. The cage contains a carbon dioxide sensor (left) and nitrogen dioxide sensor (right), side by side. The sensors are made by Kimessa, use infrared (for CO2) and electrochemical technology (for NO2), and produce digital output.
