Summary

Description
English: This is the removable ion-source from an Agilent mass spectrometer, intended for use with liquid chromatography (LC-MS). These spray chambers are interchangeable, and this is the version for atmospheric pressure chemical ionisation (APCI). The nebulizer assembly fits into the top of the chamber and is normally invisible, so here I have removed it so it can be seen. The inlet to the mass spec is from the direction the viewer sees the image.
