Summary

Description
English: The ancient Waddy Tree (Acacia peuce) on Diamantina St, Boulia, was a site of corroborees in times past. Boulia Shire has one of only three remaining stands of waddy trees. It is the most extensive and healthiest of the three, with juvenile trees common in the woodland. Isolated, outlying trees can be found in the woodland that covers much of the Burke River floodplain.
