English: The monument is of a sculpture of the famous Ankole long horned cow, right in the heart of Mbarara city( Mbarara district - Western Uganda), some locals say it signifies The richness of the land of Ankole (the land of milk and honey), home to the Bahima tribe. The monument is also at a location where two of the big streets in Mbarara city converge into one(High street and Makanisingi street)
