English: Original caption: "Regimental Combat Team 2--While on an operation Dec. 21 through Dec. 24, 2010, with 2nd Platoon, India Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, an attached group of snipers often appear out of the shadows. The Platoon was on an operation to secure a compound at a new patrol base in the southern area of operations. While in route to the new location, the group was met with enemy fire from several locations prompting the Marines to suppress the enemy." Accompanying story indicates location as Sangin in Afghanistan.
