Summary

Description
English: 2nd Lt. Roberto Lim is the son of Gen. Vicente Lim of the 41st Infantry Division. He was still at the United States Naval Academy when war broke out. He could not serve in the US Navy as he was a Filipino citizen, and thus he joined the 1st Filipino Regiment when it was mobilized in Camp San Luis Obispo in California. A few months later he joined the US Army Air Corps and trained as a pilot of a B-29 Superfortress, joining the bombing raids in Japan.
