Description
Deutsch: Verstecktes Radio; Die Skulptur wurde 2004 von dem Künstlerpaar Svetlana und Igor Kopystiansky geschaffen. Sie erinnert an die Lebensgeschichte des Paar's in der ehemaligen Sowjetunion. Dort wurden die Frequenzen des Auslandsrundfunks so gestört, dass der Empfang stellenweise nur auf dem Land möglich war. Also fuhr das Paar mit einem Rucksack und einem versteckten Radio aufs Land, um die Auslandsnachrichten zu hören. Sie befindet sich am Bonner Schürmann-Bau, dem Sitz der Deutschen Welle.[1]
