English: Reconstruction of a Renaissance triumphal arch in the Rheinisches Landesmuseum Trier, Germany. The arch was built by Christoph von Rheineck in 1530/31 as a grave monument and an altar for himself in the Church of Our Lady (Liebfrauenkirche), where he was dean. It was one of the earliest Renaissance structures in Germany but was largely demolished. The five statues on top are now in the collection of the Museum am Dom. This reconstruction is based on ancient drawings and descriptions.
