Deutsch: 05.07.2003 17166 Burg Schlitz (Gem. Hohen Demzin): Mecklenburgs bedeutendste klassizistische Schloßanlage (1806-1824). Der Nymphenbrunnen (GMP: 53.701102,12.542426) im Park wurde 1903 von Walter Schott im Jugendstil für den Brunnenhof des Kaufhauses Wertheim in Berlin entworfen und vermutlich 1934 von Emil Georg von Stauß nach Burg Schlitz geholt. Dieses mittlerweile weltberühmte Wasserspiel, welches auch "Brunnen der tanzenden Mädchen" genannt wird, wurde in Bronze gegossen und ist unter Anderem im Central Park von New York (sogenannte Untermeyer-Fountain), in San Francisco, in Antwerpen und in einer diplomatisch genutzten Villa in Berlin zu bewundern.
