Description | This is a Soap Box Derby racer piloted by 1968 Saginaw, Michigan Champion Marcus Haubenstricker. The extant car is located at the Frankenmuth Historical Association located in Frankenmuth, Michigan, in their historical archive and presently not on public display. The image is a cropped screen capture from a video that is hosted by Dr. Nathan Seeley from the Frankenmuth Historical Association, who discusses the racer and Derby history in general. It was posted March 21, 2024 on YouTube by Delta College Public Media, an affiliate of PBS. Dr. Seeley's face has been cropped out. The image is meant for historical and educational purposes only, and uploaded to be used in the article List of museums with Soap Box Derby racers. |
