| Description |
English: The 1961 Rambler Ambassador, a luxury compact car built by American Motors Corporation (AMC). Riding on the same 117-inch (2,972 mm) as the previous year, the 1961 model year featured a new "prowlike" front design featuring a smaller grille with horizontal bars with a small Ambassador nameplate script and repositioned outboard quad headlamps next to the protruding lower front fender extensions. There were also minor changes to the taillamps, bodyside trim, and the interior.
