The styling on the PA Vauxhall was influenced by America with its tail fins and wrap around windows. All PA Vauxhalls were 4 door saloons and 6 seaters. They were built from 1957-62.
Base model was the Velox then upmarket model, the Cresta.
This is an early model with the larger tail lights and 3 piece rear window (see rear photo) The facelift in 1959 included an enlarged grille and the 3 piece rear window went to 1 piece.
Then in 1960, the tail lights were changed and it got a new engine.
In Australia it was the 1st car to win the Armstrong 500 (in 1960) at Phillip Island with John Roxburgh and Frank Coad at the wheel.
Engine; up to 1960; 2262 6cyl then 2651 6
