Summary

Description

Only one engine is available, a Proton-engineered 1.6-litre naturally aspirated unit, first used in the Iriz. However, it has been refined for better NVH attributes.

The Getrag 5MT and Punch CVT have also been carried over from the Iriz. And similarly, Proton has refined the CVT for a smoother drive.

Fuel efficiency has also improved 10% to 6.1L/100km with the CVT, and 13% to 5.6L/100km for the manual.
