Русский: Маневровые тепловозы серии ТЭМ2 («Тепловоз с электропередачей, маневровый, тип 2») строились на Брянском машиностроительном и Ворошиловградском тепловозостроительном заводах. Тепловозы серии ТЭМ2 широко использовались на сети дорог МПС и в промышленности. Данный экземпляр (ТЭМ2-1592) построен в 1973-м году, служил на Московской железной дороге (ТЧ-28 Верховье, ТЧЭ-27 Орёл-Сортировочный). После снятия с эксплуатации, был отреставрирован в локомотивном депо Новомосковск. В данный момент - экспонат в Музее истории развития железнодорожного транспорта Московской железной дороги (на Рижском вокзале Москвы).
English: Shunting diesel locomotives of the TEM2 series (“Diesel locomotive with electric transmission, shunting, type 2”) were built at the Bryansk Machine-Building and Voroshilovgrad Diesel Locomotive Plants. Diesel locomotives of the TEM2 series were widely used on the railway network of the Ministry of Railways and in industry. This copy (TEM2-1592) was built in 1973, served on the Moscow Railway (TCh-28 Verkhovye, TChE-27 Oryol-Sorting). After decommissioning, it was restored in the Novomoskovsk locomotive depot. At the moment - an exhibit in the Museum of the History of the Development of Railway Transport of the Moscow Railway (at the Rizhsky railway station in Moscow).
