Русский: Один из предполагаемых маршрутов похода русских полков на половцев в 1185 г. Версия Бориса Рыбакова.
Б. А. Рыбаков считал, что автор «Слова о полку Игореве» называет Великим Доном ту реку, которую мы ныне зовём Северским Донцом, а Малым Доном (Донцом) он называет нынешнюю речку Уды. И, следовательно, по его версии, Игорь «перебредал» 1-го мая именно Уды и вышел к Осколу где-то ниже Купянска. Эта версия рождает вопрос: на какой же ориентир направлялись князья. Неизвестно. Есть и второй вопрос: было ли тактически выгодно Игорю одному (до встречи с Всеволодом) выходить в открытую степь, рискуя быть сразу замеченным половцами? Эту ситуацию признаёт и сам Б. А. Рыбаков: «После переправы через «Малый Донец» сразу же начинались большие открытые безлесные пространства. Весь путь до встречи с половцами состоял из 130 километров степи, 35 километров дубрав и 60 километров перелесков. Учитывая значительную открытость и просматриваемость пути, Игорь, очевидно, вёл свои войска по ночам... Движение многотысячного войска неизбежно пробуждало стаи птиц, что являлось ... угрозой, так как демаскировало скрытое ночное движение». По мнению С. А.
