Summary

Description
English: The sculpture by artist Dan Reisner was made in 2020, right after the tragedy in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The work depicts Floyd as he was at his very last minutes, lying with his eyes closed. On the Neck of the sculpture one can notice tree rings-like around its neck, indicating the eight-plus minutes of his killing. Reisner's bronze bust of the late George Floyd was acquired by the International African American Museum (IAAM) in Charleston, South Carolina.
