I know this is not copyvio - I checked that. I also recall the refs were there before but with manually inserted numbers. I rewrote some portions to fix english and reduce repetition. Legacypac (talk) 19:40, 4 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
Well as a public company listed on the Hong Kong Exchange, they are notable per WP:LISTED and they are a major subsiderary of a large notable private conglomerate Chow Tai Fook. There is a fanatic idea that no company is notable and any mention is advertising, but say a person who appears at an Olympics but is never heard from again is auto notable. This needs to change. Public companies, in this case a multinational with around 90 years of history, impact thousands of investors, employees, suppliers, and pension fund beneficieries. This is real life important not some silly pokemon charactor. Legacypac (talk) 19:38, 4 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
You take a different reading from LISTED, because it does not presume notability for companies. "There is a fanatic idea that no company is notable and any mention is advertising, but say a person who appears at an Olympics but is never heard from again is auto notable." This is a WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS argument. I agree, Wikipedia is really inclusive towards athletes. When NATHLETE is rewritten I will gladly join in the purge. Meanwhile, I stick to what the community has decided. Also, you'll note that I don't edit fanboy stuff like Pokemon. If these weak arguments are the best you have, you ought to rethink editing. I would suggest rereading WP:LISTED and considering that WP:N is supposed to be the standard across the site. Therefore if an athlete qualifies for a page under N then absolutely a listed company with far more available info qualifies. Legacypac (talk) 13:52, 9 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
