Syed Rabiul Hoque is a Journalist .He was born in Krishnai (Khamar Manikpur)on 18 Dec.1977 of Goalpara District of Assam. Hoque has been working as a Roving Correspondent with Asomiya Pratidin news paper since 1998.working in the field of Journalism since 1993.His previous working experience indudes - as a Correspondent (Goalpara) in Saptahik Deobar and as a Local Correspondent (Krishnai) in Natun Dainik.Some of his reporting beats indudes -Child rights and malnutrition, conservation of nature and wildlife and investigative reporting. His sincere service in the field of journalism is evident from the several awards bestowed upon him. Received fellowship- (1) Year & Period= 36 Months (Nov.2014 to Nov.2016) Sponsoring Organisation= Funded by the European Union and Implemented by ACTED and its partners NEICORD and PAC. Theme= Improving Access to Information and Delivery of Public Schemes in Remote and Backward District Of North East India. (2) Year & Period= 75 days, 2022 Sponsoring organization= Funded by the UNICEF, Assam & Cotton University with support from DIPR, Assam and its partners SURAKSHA. Theme= Malnutrition Impacting Children(6-23 months) and Adolescents in Assam. (3) Year & period= three months, 2023 Sponsoring Organisation= National Foundation for India. (NFI) Theme= Malnutrition Impacting Children in Goalpara District. Journalist Haque has also established himself as a good speaker and resource person. He has already held national level conferences in various states of the country like Calcutta, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kerala, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana.He has participated in workshops and seminars as invited resource persons and presented about 20 papers on various topics. Some of these papers have already been published in national newspapers and magazines. Syed Rabiul Haque has studied and travelled in 10 countries through various fellowships. He was selected for the Goodwill Miss of the Government of Assam in 2019 and had the opportunity to visit Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh.
