1977-1995: P.S.R. / Lite Rock Radio

The station was established in early 1977 since no internet radio that year, which carrying its news/talk radio station called P.S.R.: Public Service Radio when 740 kHz on AM band, when aired its first program called Morning News during to delay airtime, In October 1984, later moved to 620 kHz but now owned the sister stations, it was rebranded as Lite Rock Radio which reformatted with Soft AC format, but some AM stations called P.S.R. when continues to air for 740 kHz from AM band also became that second sister station since late 1980s, the company but since moving to internet radio station in 1993 but no transiton for FM band due to unpaid license once more, However, which lasted to 10 years until goes off the air in May 1995 but reformat the station well delay than months during to test broadcast period until July 31, 1995, but well P.S.R. which ended its broadcast at same year.

1995-2013: POP! Radio

On May 1, 1995, during to Labor Day, were back on the air this time, it was reformatted as POP! (without "Radio" name) which played to pop music through its existence, when officially launched on July 31, 1995 after 2-month test broadcast period, in July 1998, POP! was reduced the wrapped up our playlist due to danger of the censorship songs.[2]

In 2002, POP! was added the R&B dance songs up to early 1990s playlist, Back then, the station celebrated its 10th anniversary since 2003.

In April 2004, during to Summer 2004, POP! but shortening to name as POP! Radio, when shifted the dance-pop format (when carried the pop music) also between that playing dance-pop hits like 1980s and 1990s (which that additional format for new wave and synthpop genre) would not adding some additional dance songs only but became to unorganized these playlist, then not adding to 2000s dance hits which not became to new songs this year, the weekly Saturday program called Saturday's Dance-Pop Hits every Saturdays daily at 6am until 6pm onwards throughout daily, After sucessfully was rebranded, the station was sold to coporate the owners would that purchased to complex owners also parent holdings through broadcast company who next for newest ownership also corporate property which demolished since June 2011, Since then, POP! was became to number one of the first pop music radio station in the country.

On November 20, 2012, the station's management will decided that goes off the air until April 1, 2013 which new reformat the station due to low ratings, in March 2013, after 20 years, POP! Radio's finally bids farewell but thanks its wonderful listeners for past to 24 years on air, but last on-air onboard until March 27, 2013, which played for last two song before signed off the air would return the airwaves only before rebranding the station until April, Also, the station that played to last three songs for Avril Lavigne's hits including When You're Gone, Wish You Were Here and Goodbye but takes a bow the POP! brand after 18 years on air, which airs to station notice during the last time this on air.

The station went off air on March 27, 2013 before Holy Week days (including Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday and Easter Sunday) until goes on the air in April 2013 when rebranded the station this Monday.

2013-present: Sweetheart Radio

In April 2013, at 4:52 am, coinciding with the 20th anniversary the station, when playing automated music within 10 days period, also officially debuted the programs on April 8, 2013 when launched the weekly programs including Wednesday Hardcore and Greatest Saturday at same year, the station was resumed its broadcasting and rebranded as Sweetheart Radio, the slogan as "Less Talk, More Music", ending almost 20 years of broadcasting under the POP! Radio brand to reflect the change, After demise of POP!, but flipped to contemporary pop music (was gradually shifted the mainly Soft AC format, also similar that original format during to Lite Rock Radio era from October 1984 to May 1995), the format of "lite rock music" style, when reformatted an easy-listening format when officially discontinued the pop music programming format after POP! signed off at same year, but unlike any other stations who not playing upbeat tracks eversince, but just like these playlist of Easy Rock.

On December 24, 2021, due to Christmas Eve, the station would that underwent to rebranding from Sweetheart Radio to Sweetheart which starting to January 3, 2022, but dropped the "Radio" name, Meanwhile, the station was fully automated until December 27, 2021 which rebranding the station.

On January 3, 2022, Sweetheart Radio was changed its name to Sweetheart when dropped the "Radio" name, the slogan as "Good Vibes For The Music" that year.

On October 1, 2023, Sweetheart Radio was launched the Sunday program called Sunday at the Memories which played to lite rock music (including pop hits, FRC or Folk Rock & Country, easy listening love songs and upbeat hits with Slow Rock Ballads etc) (during to Lite Rock Radio era) also no DJs only every Sundays, also added its songs included to No More Lonely Hearts, Wednesday Hardcore and Greatest Saturday's playlist after program blocks are ended due to pandemic, However, the currently best largest music hits format just like "masa" style, Sunday at the Memories is a playing latest hits up to 70s, 80s and the 90s playlist every Sunday which similar the playlist of Lite Rock Radio era, The Sunday at the Memories program every Sunday from to 6:00 am to 6:00 pm onwards before playing regular playlist during nights, later in March, was added its DJs every weelends while playing automated music (expect to the mainly Easy Rock playlist) from 10am to 2pm due to programming extension, DJ Mark is moved to 2pm-6pm timeslot every Saturday.

In December 2023, the station was slowly its shifted to Mainstream Top 40, However, after 10 years, ending an easy-listening format without additional format, would continues to the Soft AC playlist which targeting the masses, the format was similar the POP! Radio's playlist, However, did not push this reformat, but remains with easy-listening format.

In March 2013, iHeartRadio was filled an trademark infringement case against to the media company, EMBS Inc. (or Enhanced Media Broadcasting Systems Inc.), would rebranding as Heart FM (later changed its name to Sweetheart Radio until April 2013) who unsupervised that without permission the company also said brand by Heart FM but damaged almost loss to $382,860 for a two month after ended its parent company then among subsidiaries, The case was upheld on June 2014, but stopped its trademark for rebranding the station who once than terrified that controversial issue but now case closed to controversial trademark infringement.[3][4]

In 2021, the trademark infringement controversial case was now officially closed after completed to the court.[5]
